Having fun with Kitschy Digitals Embroidery Patterns

We´re having so much fun with these new KD Goods!
My mother painted our t-shirts using Olivia embroidery pattern and I`ve done one sewing box where I used Kawaii cute fruits embroidery patterns.
And I also have another KD LO to share!

What´s your best vacation? Where? Why?

Catalyst 60 is up at the Creative Therapy website. And it's about the best vacation you've ever had! I've chosen to tell about the first time I've been to Paris
What I had to say about this trip: I’ve already had the opportunity of getting to know places with incredible natural beauty, however, Paris, in summer, was a wonderful first time experience: not only the city was beautiful but, the cultural experience from which I took advantage of was unforgettable.I lost my breath at the Louvre museum and appreciated every garden, “bistro”, cafe and every stroll in its merry-go-round. I enjoyed the magnificent architecture, with facades cut out of enchantment, history, richness, beauty and art. Being Camille Claudel’s fan and follower, I could observe an exposition of hers at the Rodin museum, where all his works of art were exposed outdoors…oh, “The Gates of Hell”, a work of a lifetime I saw it personally! In Montmartre, I ran up and down the slopes, enjoyed rue Lepic and “Les Deux Moulains” café with a friend, observed Salvador Dali’s works of art, outdoor artists, couples kissing on the grass, and I followed the routes from the movie Amélie Poulain…Every “boulangerie”, glass of wine, chocolate éclaire, ‘macarron”, were delightedly tasted…not to mention the boat tours along river Sena and the walks through magnificent bridges.Every cultural tour was followed by a nice break, to the sound of Piaf, or any other great French music.A delicious crepe, a walk filled with fashion windows as I’ve never seen before: getting to know Gautier’s atelier, the Champs Elysée boutiques and walking through any street, filled with postcards and time magazines, full of newspapers and old fashion magazines to buy, take home and cut out… I still got to experience the 14th of July fireworks, giant illuminated wheels, love kisses and dinner at “Le Grand Colbert”, Keanu Reeves and Diane Keaton’s scenario…and, to finish up, like if wasn’t enough, my husband and I were in a very romantic mood!I don’t have critics about the trip, an “otherwise” or a “coma”. The only sadness was to go back home when there was still so much to see and appreciate. Nowadays I only have a wish: returning as often as possible…
I´ve made two projects about it. The first one is a layout. The second is this book-project: After making the page above, I decided to work on the day I spent at Versailles palace, trying to capture all its luxyry and the enchantment of the "hameau de Marie Antoinette". .. This is the project I submitted to the website.

AMM´s blog hop and a scavenger hunt

As part of AMM’s NSD crop we’re having a blog hop and a scavenger hunt. Here is how this will work; each one of the design team girls will have a special post for the blog hop where you will have the chance to get to know them a little bit better. Also, the end of the post there will be a clue that will lead you on a hunt through the AMM site. Be sure to check the NSD forum for complete information on the Blog Hop Challenge. Also, you can find links to the other design team girls’ blogs can be found in the left column.
Here’s a little interview for you to get to know me better:
  • Why is AMM your favorite online club? AMM is my favorite online store. I love their products and always can find new releases for a good price. They also have wonderful monthly kits, an inspiring design team and a very supportive online community. AMM is always a friendly and kind environment.

  • What is your favorite item in the AMM store at the moment? Have you seen the AMM´s vintage findings/Odds and Ends Sections? I love everything there! My favorite product is here: http://www.amillionmemories.com/product.php?id=11337 (I probably have bought all their stock,tough...)
  • What are your 3 must have scrapbooking products/tools? scissors, guilotine trimmer, edge distressor
  • If you could be a famous person for a day... who would you be? Does it need to be someone alive? I would love to be Salvador Dali or Picasso and get their creative minds for a day!
  • What non-scrapbooking items do you love to use in your projects? Book and music sheets
  • Are you a messy scrapper or clean and tidy? Gee, I´m a messy scrapper! I love creating on the floor and spread things through the space until it gets completely surrounded by papers, tools, paint and pictures, but I honestly would love to be more clean and tidy.

  • How "Out of the Traditional Box" type scrapper are you? Well, I love to use rustic materials, textures and to innovate, but my biggest transgression is that not always the picture has much importance in my page layout because the techniques used and the decoration as a whole are part of my artistic message.
  • Do you shop for your scrapbook supplies more online or at your LSS?I prefer to buy everything online.
  • Are you more of a scrap page, mini album, or altered project? Scrap page, but I adore to alter books.
  • How does your spouse, sig. other, or family, support and understand your scrapbook needs? He´s the one who makes dinner or order something while I scrapbook!
Now, onto some scavenger hunting. Here’s a clue for you:
  • Who is the loving owner of AMM?
  • Where is the exact location of AMM?
